About the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House

The Butterfly House first opened in February 1995 and provided the Coffs Coast with yet another unique attraction.

Ian and Ros Bryant, the present owners, took over the running of the Butterfly House in September 2012 and will continue to maintain and improve this iconic attraction.

We display approximately 400 live Australian butterflies all year round with a focus on up to 17 species. Seasonal variations mean that not all species are available for display at all times, however we usually have at least 12 different species flying at a given time.
