The adult moths of this species have variable dark brown forewings, each with a yellow spot at the base, and two yellow spots near the middle, one of which is dumb-bell shaped. The hindwings are pale yellow with broad pale brown margins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
