The adult moths of this species are grey or brown with various dark markings, including a winding dark line across each forewing. The wings have scalloped edges. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

In its natural resting position, the moth has its wings closed over its back, like a butterfly.

The species has been found in :

Western Australia.
