The adult moths of this species are greyish brown, with markings that include several wavy submarginal lines on each forewing. The hindwings are plain brown. The females have threadlike antennae. The males have antennae with a feather-like fringe on one side. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
