These adult moths have forewings that are grey each with broken wiggly black lines, and a prominent black spot near the middle. The hindwings are plain grey or brown. The wingspan is about 4.5 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
