The adult moths of this species have sandy brown wings, with a vague broad irregular dark band across each forewing, and a vague dark spot near the middle of each wing. The moths have a wingspan of 2.5 cms.

The species has only been found in

  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
