The forewings of the adult moth of this species have pale brown forewings with indistict darker wavy bands enclosing orange areas. The hindwings are plain pale brown. The males and females are very similar, except the females have thread-like antennae, and the males have bipectinate antennae. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species occurs in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
