The adult moths of this species are white, with forewings that each have two black-edged orange zigzag transverse lines, or sometimes just arcs of orange and black dots. The hindwings are grey-brown each with one or two vague darker transverse bands. The moths have fluffy white hair on the head, femurs, and the thorax. The abdomen is brown with a white tuft on the tip. The wingspan is about 4 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in :

  • Queensland
  • New South Wales,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
