The adult moth of this species has grey-brown forewings each with a number of wavy dark bands. The hindwings are off-white, each shading to pale brown at the wingtip. The moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms.

The species has been found in Australia in:

  • Tasmania, and
  • Western Australia.
