The adult moth of this species has grey forewings, each with a complex pattern of dark serrated lines. The hindwings are pale fawn, darkening toward the wing-tips. The moth has a wingspan of about 2.5 cms.

This species has been found in

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria, and
  • South Australia.
