The adults are orange, with the forewings having dark wiggly submarginal lines or bands. The hindwings are yellow with dark areas beside and along the margins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

This species has been found in

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
