The wings of this moth are grey, with the forewings being darker and subtlely patterned. The wingspan of the moths is about 4 cms.

The species has been found over the south-east quarter of Australia, including:

  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales,
  • Victoria,
  • South Australia, and
  • Western Australia.
