The adult moth of this species has forewings that have a complex pattern of shades of brown, with a broad pale area across the wingtip. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

This species is found in Australia in:

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland.

    Sightings in southern states may be misidentifications:-

  • New South Wales, and
  • Victoria.
