The adult moths of this species are dark brown with one or more cream marks on each forewing. The hindwings are yellow with broad brown margins. The wingspan is about 1.5 cm.

The species has been caught in :

  • Western Australia,
  • Northern Territory,
  • Queensland,
  • New South Wales, and
  • Australian Capital Territory.
