The adult moth of this species has white forewings, each with a brown costa. and one or more variable small irregular faint brown rings. There is also a dark dot near the middle of each wing, The wingspan is about 3.5 cms. The palps are brown, and the head and thorax are white, and the abdomen is white with several variable yellow dots, often including two on the first segment, and one on the last.

The species has been found in:

  • New Guinea,

    and in Australia in

  • Queensland, and
  • New South Wales.
