The adult moth of this species has forewings that have a variable vague pattern of shades of brown, sometimes with dark streak. The hindwings are a uniform pale brown. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

The species has been found in :

  • New South Wales,
  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • Victoria,
  • Tasmania, and
  • Western Australia.
