Narcisse Rémond was a prominent French master intaglio printer (imprimeur taille-doucier) based in Paris. He took over the printing workshop established by his father, Jean-Charles Rémond, at 15 Rue Saint-Jacques in Paris’ Latin Quarter.
Narcisse Rémond is highly regarded for his precision in
scientific, natural history, and artistic engravings during the 19th century,
notably producing finely detailed plates for ornithological, entomological, and botanical publications.
