Anstalt von Werner & Winter, was a renowned German printing firm in Frankfurt am Main, first listed in 1871, founded by Georg Wilhelm Winter, with assistance from a Werner partner. After Georg's death in 1900, the firm was run by his son Fritz Winter.

Werner & Winter became famous for Chromolithography (multicolor lithographic printing) They specialised in scientific plates for zoology, ichthyology, entomology, and botany.

In 1927, they merged with 'R. Th. Hauser & Co'., also in Frankfurt, to form 'Hauserpresse Werner & Winter GmbH'.

They were employed by a number of entomologists to draw, engrave, and print the illustrations in their multi-volume theses, including :

Adalbert Seitz for his work The Macrolepidoptera of the World (1912 - 1954), and

Georg Semper in his work Die Schmetterlinge der Philippinischen Inseln (1896 - 1902).
